Answer:

old ratio of ved and roy = 4:1

= 4/5,1/5

ved gives to Gopal = 4/5 ×1/5 = 4/25

after surrendering to Gopal, ved share will be

4/5-1/5=3/5

now new ratio is

3/5:1/5:4/25

3/5 ×25:1/5 ×25:4/25 ×25

15:5:4 (ans)
