6. Velocity-time graph for the motion of an
object in a straight path is a straight line
parallel to the time axis.
(a) Identify the nature of motion of the
body.
(b) Find the acceleration of the body.
(c) Draw the shape of distance-time
graph for this type of motion

(c)☝️☝️☝️

Answer:

(a)Since the velocity-time graph is a straight line parallel to the time axis, this means that the velocity does not increase/decrease with time. This type of motion is called Uniform motion(constant velocity).

(b) Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity (or [change in velocity]/time). As the body is in uniform motion and there is no change in velocity the acceleration is 0.
