6 + ( w - 10 ) = 5

   Adding - 6 on both sides :

6 + ( w - 10 ) - 6 = 5 - 6

6 - 6 + ( w - 10 ) = - ( 6 - 5 )

( w - 10 ) = - 1

w - 10 = - 1

   Adding 10 on both sides,

w - 10 + 10 = - 1 + 10

w =   10 - 1

w =  9

Therefore the value of w satisfying the equation is 9.

maestres2: W-10= 5-6
maestres2: W= 5 - 6 + 10
maestres2: W = 9
maestres2: I'm sure is 9
