Explanation:

Unit vector can be taken in any direction. If a unit vector is taken in `x’ direction, say `i’, then unit vector `-i’ , will be in negative `x’ direction. Same thing can be said about negative vector in `y’ and `z’ directions.

If we take a vector at an angle θ to `x’ axis, then it is written as ejθ . A negative vector in θ direction is −ejθ .
