From the three states of matter, solids expand the least. Brownian movement is maximum in gases . Matter can change from one state to another by change in temperature or pressure. The space between atoms(molecules) of solid is minimum .

Brownian movement is the random zig zag motion of particles dispersed in a medium due to collision with colloidal particles.

It differs in the three states of matter on account of speed

Its fastest in gases due to large intermolecular distance, moderate in liquids and slowest in solids
