The activity that is used to make vinegar and wine is Fermentation. Yeast is used by the people or in the industries to make or maufacture vinegar, that is, acetic acid and wine.

The activity that is used by microorganisms to make the soil fertile is called nitrogen fixation. Blue green algae and Bacteria are the two microorganisms which are responsible for making the soil fertile. They have the ability to fix N2 from atmospheric surroundings and then makes the soil rich with nitrogen. This way they help in making the soil fertile.
