There must be differences among consumers.

In market segmentation, we find out those type of customers who have different demands and needs than others. Basically, in market segmentation, we take a big part of the market in which many customers have different needs and we divide the big market into small parts or segments according to the needs of customers in that area. For successful market segmentation, there must be similarities between the customers of a particular segment and if there are differences among customers then market segmentation can't be considered successful.
