because during melting the size of substance decrease and can be seen by naked eye.hence we can see that it's physical appearance is Changing...so it it is considered as physical change.

melting is physical changes because substances produced during chemical changes however cannot easily change back into the original substances.

Explanation:

First,

Take example of Ice and melt it by giving pressure or Increasing heat ! what will you observe is that it changes into liquid state water and now we can change the state of water too that's like if you we want water to be changed into gaseous state we can by increasing temperature. and if we want water back we can condense it.

so , in this we can renew substance again and again it's not like that if we changed any state of substance it can't be renewed in its earlier phase.
