Answer:

6(x-4/x-1)^2+13(x-4/x-1)=15

Take (x-4/x-1) = y

so equation becomes

6 y^2 + 13y - 15 = 0

Using formula , solving quadratic equation

y = 5/6 & -3

since assumed y = (x-4/x-1)

(x-4/x-1) = 5/6

6(x - 4) = 5(x - 1)

we get

x = 19

similarly

(x-4/x-1) = -3

x - 4 = -3( x - 1)

we get

x = 7/4

Step-by-step explanation:

X values are 7/4 & 19
