Hi ,
6x - 2/x = 1
( 6x² - 2 )/x = 1
6x² - 2 = x
6x² - x - 2 = 0
6x² + 3x - 4x - 2 = 0
3x ( 2x + 1 ) - 2(2x + 1 ) = 0
( 2x + 1 ) ( 3x - 2 ) = 0
Therefore ,
2x + 1 = 0 or 3x - 2 = 0
2x = -1 or 3x = 2
x = -1/2 or x = 2/3
I hope this helps you.
