Answer:

a^2-b^2°(a-b)(a+b)

{(15/4)^2-x^2}=2

{225/16-x^2=2

225/16-2=x^2

225-32/16=x^2

193/16=x^2

√193/4=x

Given : (60/16-x)-(60/16+x)=2

To Find :   x

Solution:

case 1 :

(\dfrac{60}{16} -x) - (\dfrac{60}{16} +x) =2

-2x=2

=> x = - 1

case 2 :

(\dfrac{60}{16-x} )-(\dfrac{60}{16+x} )=2

=> 60 (16 + x)  - 60 ( 16- x)  = 2 ( 16 + x)(16 - x)

=>60 ( 16 + x - 16 + x)  = 2 ( 16²  - x²)

=> 30 ( 2x) = 16²  - x²

=> 60x = 256 - x²

=> x²  + 60x  - 256  = 0

=> x² + 64x - 4x - 256 = 0

=> x( x + 64) - 4(x + 64) = 0

=> (x - 4)(x + 64) = 0

=> x  = 4 , - 64
