Answer:

People liking cricket =60%

People liking football =30%

∴ People liking other games =(100−60−30)%=10%

Total number of people in city =50,00,000

∴ No. of people liking cricket =10060×50,00,000=30,00,000

∴ No. of people liking football =10030×50,00,000=15,00,000

∴ No. of people liking other games =10010×50,00,000=5,00,000

Answer:

Total number of students = 600

percentage of students like cricket = 60%

percentage of students like football = 30%

percentage of students like other games = 10%

number \: of \: students \: like \: cricket = \frac{60}{100} \times 600 \\ = > 30 \times 6 = 360 \\number \: of \: students \: like \:football = \frac{30}{100} \times 600 \\ = > 3 0 \times 6 = 180 \\ number \: of \: students \: like \:other \: games = \frac{10}{100} \times 600 \\ = > 10 \times 6 = 60
