Given :

Numbers - 2, 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, 26, 30, 34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54, 58

To find :

• Adding any three numbers from this , sum has to be equal to 60

Solution :

• By hit and trial method,

2+6+10 = 18

2+6+14 = 22

2+6+18 = 26

2+6+22 = 30

2+6+26 = 34

2+6+30 = 38

2+6+34 = 42

2+6+38 = 46

2+6+42 = 50

2+6+46 = 54

2+6+50 = 58

2+6+54 = 62

• Do other by yourself, fix 2 numbers at a time and change third number. See if sum is equal to 60 or not.

• Final answer is no three numbers give 60 when added at a same time.
