The length of each tiles is 1.5 meters.

Explanation:

Let x be the length of each square tile.

Area of a square tile = (side)^2= x^2

⇒ Area of 60 square tiles = 60 x Area of a square tile

⇒ Area of 60 square tiles =60 x^2

Total area to cover = 135 square meters.

As per given , Area of 60 square tiles=  135 square meters

i.e. 60 x^2= 135

 x^2= \dfrac{135}{60}=2.25

 x=\sqrt{2.25 }=\pm1.5

Since the length cannot be negative , so x= 15

Hence, the length of each tiles is 1.5 meters.
