Given,

  • 600 labour build a tower in 180 days
  • All satrted working but after 40 days 100 labours left.

To Find,

  • How many days will the remaining labour take to complete the work

Procedure,

600 labour build a tower in 180 days (Given)

So,

One Worker Can Do Work in

108,000 days (180×600)

So,

One Worker Can Do Work in One day

= 1/108,000 Work (1)

Solution,

The Work done by 600 Worker Together in One day

= 1/108,000 × 600

= 1/180 Work

They Work Together 40 days (Given)

The Work done in 40 days together

= 1/180 × 40

= 2/9 Work

After 40 days,

The 100 worker Left,

So , 500 Workers are doing work

The Work done by 500 Workers Together in One day

= 1/108,000 × 500

= 1/216 Work

2/9 work have before leaving 100 workers

The remaining work is 7/9

So,

The remaining work done By 500 workers

 \frac{7}{9} \div \frac{1}{216} \\ \\ \frac{7}{9} \times \frac{216}{1} \\ \\ 7 \times 24 \\ \\ = > 168 \: days

The remaining work done By 500 workers in 168

So,

Total Days is 208 days
