Principle = Rs 6000
Time = 3 years 8 months
= 3 whole 8/12 years
= 3 whole 2/3 years
= 11/3 years

Rate = 12 %

S.I = PxTxR /100
= 6000 x 11 x 12 / 100 x 3
= Rs 2640

So, Amount = P + S.I
= Rs ( 6000 + 2640)
= Rs 8640
