subtracting both of the equations

60a+40b=10

48a+40b=-9

then it will be=

12a= 19

now a=19/12

put the value of a in eq. 1

60*19/12 + 40b= 10

5*19 +40b=10

95 +40b=10

40b =10-95

40b=-85

b =-85/40

b= -19/8

m29ahmed: -48a-40b=-9
