Explanation:

molar mass of acetic acid is 60g

molar mass of water is 18g

no of moles of acetic acid = 60/60 = 1

no of moles of water = 18/540 = 1/30

mole fraction of acetic acid = n of acetic acid / (n of acetic acid + n of water)

= 1/ (1+1/30)

= 30/31

= 0.968

mole fraction of water = n of water / (n of water + n of acetic acid)

= (1/30) / (1/30 +1)

= 1/31

= 0.032
