Answer:

Case of P

Principal = (x-2000)

Rate of interest = 20%

Time =  2 years

Formula : A=P(1+r)^t

A=(x-2000)(1+0.2)^2

A=1.44x-2880

CI = Amount - Interest = 1.44x-2800-x+2000 = 0.44x -800

Case of Q

Principal = (x+2000)

Rate of interest = 8%

Time =  2 years

SI = \frac{ P \times R \times T }{100}

SI = \frac{ (x+2000)\times 8 \times 2 }{100}

SI = 0.16x+320

We are given that After 2 year difference between interest earn from scheme P and Q is 1600

0.44x - 800-0.16x-320 = 1600

0.28x-1120 = 1600

0.28x = 1600+1120

0.28x = 2720

x = \frac{2720}{0.28}

x =9714.285

Amount invested by P = (9714.285-2000)= 7714.285

Amount Invested by Q = (9714.285+2000)=11714.285

Difference = 11714.285-7714.285=4000

Amount  invested by Aman in scheme 'Q'is percent more than amount invested by him in scheme “P = \frac{4000}{7714.285} \times 100=51.85\%
