Solution:

First, mark all the forces for each blocks.

4kg block

  • 4gsin30° -T = 4a
  • 2g - T = 4a --------------(1)

2kg block

  • T - 2g = 2a --------------(2)

•Adding equations 1 and 2

2g - T = 4a

T - 2g = 2a

a = 0 m/s

so, acceleration of 2kg block is 0m/s²
