|| ANSWER ||

63 – [ ( -3 ) { - 2 - 8 – 3 } ] / [ 3 { 5 + (- 2) ( -1) } ]

→ let's solve this according to BODMAS RULE

→ 63 – [ ( -3 ) { - 13 } ] / [ 3 { 5 + 2 } ]

→ 63 - [ 39 / 3 { 7 } ]

→ 63 - 39 / 21

→ Now , take LCM

→ 1323 / 21 - 39 / 21

→ 1323 - 39 / 21

→ 1284 / 21

→ 428 / 7

→ 61.14 ( approximate value )

NOTE :-

  • BODMAS is a short form for Brackets, Of, Division, Multiplication, Addition and Subtraction.
  • According to Bodmas rule, if an expression contains brackets ( ( ), { } , [ ] ) we have to first solve or simplify the bracket followed by of (powers and roots etc.), then division, multiplication, addition and subtraction from left to right.
  • Solving the problem in the wrong order will result in a wrong answer.
  • It is also the order of how Microsoft Excel works out how to perform the order of calculations.
