b) The number of cubes painted on only two sides = 16
c) The number cubes painted on three sides = 8
d) The number of cubes not painted = 8
The 64 unit cubes when glued together to form a single cube , the volume of the big cube is equal to 64 unit³.
Let the side of big cube be a.
=> a³ = 64
=> a = 4 units
The side of big cube is 4 units.
