We can simply solve the above problem as follows;

We know that,

Work = Time × Number of women

Putting the values in the above formula -

Work = 50 × 64 (Equation 1)

Let the number of women required to do work in 80 days be W.

Therefore,

Work = 80W (Equation 2)

Equating 1 & 2

50 × 64 = 80W

W = 3200/80

W = 40 women

So, 40 women are required to do work in 80 days.

Number of women who can take leave = 64-40 = 24.

Hence, The answer is 24 women.
