depends on how much you score in every subject. For ex: Suppose you have 5 subjects and If you score 65 marks in every subject then the total marks scored by you will be 65*5 that is 325 and the total marks is 80*5 that is 400.So, the percent scored will be 325÷400*100 i.e 81.25%. Similarly you count for every subject in particular by taking 8 marks as 10%.
