Answer:Since it will only revolve not rotate then it will result in only one type of season and temperature which will not be good for earth's atmosphere but since its impossible then there is nothing to tense about it. This will result in seasons lasting for 6 mnths if u take only summer and winter.

It will make our planet unfit for the survival of living creatures due to excessive heat or cold.

  • The area of the earth closest to the sun will always receive heat and light from the sun, while the rest of the planet will always be cold and dark.
  • The light half would be too hot, while the dark half would be too chilly, rendering both halves unsuited for human habitation. If the world did not revolve around its own axis, this would occur.
  • The Sun and the Moon appear to move across the sky from east to west while Earth revolves on its axis from west to east. Rotation is the scientific term for the Earth's rotation around its axis.

  • A revolution is a fixed-path revolving of the Earth around the Sun. The Earth rotates counterclockwise, that is, from west to east. It takes around one year, or 365.25 days, for the Earth to complete one revolution around the Sun.
