\sf↦\:\frac{2a(3a-5) +1(3a-5)}{2a+1}

\sf↦\:\frac{(2a+1)(3a-5)}{2a+1}

\tt\purple{↦\:3a-5}

(2a+1) in numerator and denominator gets cancelled !
