Let the edges of three cubes are

a , b , c ,

a = 6cm , b = 8cm , c = 10cm,

If the these cubes are melted and

a new cube formed .

Let the edge of the new cube = A

Volume of the new cube = Sum of

the volumes of three cubes .

A³ = a³ + b³ + c³

A³ = 6³ + 8³ + 10³

A³ = 216 + 512 + 1000

A³ = 1728

A³ = 12³

Therefore

A = 12 cm

Edge of the new cube = 12 cm
