IF THIS HELPS PLEASE MARK ME WITH THE BRAINLIEST
2H2 +O2=====> 2H20
6 g of H2+ 8 g of O2
according to the ratio of hydrogen to oxygen 2:1 that means,
6 g of hydrogen will reacts with 3 g of oxygen to give = ?
the whole 6 g of hydrogen has been used up with a remaining 5g of oxygen
AT THE END OF REACTION
6g of H2 +3 g of O2 WILL GIVE = 6 g of water(steam)
WITH A REMAINING 5 g of oxygen
so the limiting reagent is the substance that is totally consumed when the chemical reaction is completed. so the reaction cannot continue without it.
LIMITING REAGENT IS HYDROGEN GAS(H2)
