First we need to find central angles needed for constructing the piechart

Central angle for piechart =

$\frac{number}{total \: number} \times 360°$

English =

$\frac{7}{30} \times 360° = 84°$

Science =

$\frac{6}{30} \times 360° = 72°$

Mathematics =

$\frac{8}{30} \times 360° = 96°$

History =

$\frac{5}{30} \times 360° = 60°$

PE =

$\frac{4}{30} \times 360° = 48°$

(Verification = 84° + 72° + 96° + 60° + 48° = 360°)*

Step for construction:

1. Draw a circle of any radius.

2. construct the radius. (draw a line from centre of the circle to circumference of the circle)

3. construct the required angles by placing your protractor's orgin on the centre of the circle and the radius as base.

4. now with newly drawn arm as the base draw the next angle.

5. repeat the process until you get the number of required sections and values.

6. colour the different sections using different colours and don't forget to write the index.
