According to the question we have to add the expressions: -6m, - 3 and 9.


We can see that in this case we don't have any similar term like that of -6m, but we have two constants that can be grouped and added.


We have to be aware of the sign of the two constants.


In order to simpify let us first add the two constants then it will be easy to understand.


Thus, (-3) + (9) = 9 - 3 = +6. [Since the two terms have different signs so minus operation will be performed. The sign depends on the sign of the greater number]


Thus -6m + 6 = 6(-m + 1). [ We have taken 6 as common in order to simplify it ]


Hence, (-6m) + (- 3) + (9) = 6(-m + 1) [Ans]
