6x + 1 + 1 = x - 3/6

NEED TO FIND:

the value of x

PROCEDURE:

6x + 1 + 1 = x - 3/6

6x + 2 = x - 3/6

6x - x = - 3/6 - 2

5x = -2.5

x = 2.5/5

x = 0.5

therefore, the value of x is 0.5
