 \frac{6x + 1}{3} + 1 = \frac{x - 3}{6} \\ \\ \frac{6x + 1 + 3}{3} =\frac{x - 3}{6} \\ \\ \frac{6x + 4}{3} = \frac{x - 3}{6} \\ \\ cross \: multiply \\ \\ 6 \times (6x + 4) = 3 \times (x - 3) \\ \\ 36x + 24 = 3x - 9 \\ \\ 36x - 3x = - 9 - 24 \\ \\ 33x = - 33 \\ \\ x = \frac{ - 33}{33} \\ \\ \boxed{x = - 1}

(6x+1+3)/3=(x-3)/6
(6x+4)/3=(x-3)/6
6 (6x+4)=3 (x-3)
36x+24=3x-9
36x-3x=-9-24
33x=-33
x=-33/33
x=-1
