Answer: x = -1
(6x+1)/3 +1 = (x-3)/6
=> (6x+1 +3)/3 = (x-3)/6
=> (6x+1 +3)/3 = (x-3)/6
=> 12x + 2 + 6 = x - 3
=> 11x = -11
=> x = -1
