Answer:

6x²+7x -13= 0

=> 6x²+13x-6x-13= 0

=> x(6x+13) -1(x+13) = 0

=> (6x+13) (x-1) = 0

Answer:

6x^2 +7x -13 =0

product = -78x^2 (6x^2 × -13)

sum = +7x

factors = 13x and -6x ( two numbers when multiplied, gives -78x^2 and when added gives +7x)

replace +7x with 13x and -6x

6x^2 +13x -6x -13 =0

collect like terms

6x^2 -6x +13x-13 =0

factorize

6x (x-1) + 13 (×-1) = 0

the factors are (x-1) twice

if x-1 = 0 then, x = 1

therefore, the factors are 1 twice
