f(x) = 6x³ + √2x² - 4√2

f(√2) = 6 (√2)³ + √2(√2)² - 4√2

         = 6 ×2√2 + √2 × 2 - 4√2

         = 12√2 + 2√2 - 4√2

         = 10√2.
