6x - 3y = -10  ---------------- [ 1 ]

3x + 5y - 8 = 0 ---------------- [ 2 ]

From [ 2 ]:

3x + 5y - 8 = 0

3x + 5y = 8

6x + 10y = 16  ---------------- [ 2a ]

[2a] - [1]:

10 y + 3y = 16 + 10

13y = 26

y = 2  ---------------- Sub into [ 1 ]

From [ 1 ]:

6x - 3y = -10

6x - 3(2) = -10

6x - 6 = -10

6x = -4

x = -4/6

x = -2/3

Answer: x = -2/3 , y = 2
