6x - 3y = -10

3x + 5y = 8

1st equ'n x 1

2nd equ'n x 2

6x -3y = -10

6x + 10y = 16

= -13y = -26

= y = -13/-26

= y = 2

sub : y = 2 , 1st equ'n

= 6x -3(2) = -10
