Answer:

6x+3y= 6xy -----(1)

2x+4y=5xy--------(2)*3

6x+3y=6xy

6x+12y=15xy

-----------------------

0- 9y= -9xy

X= -9y/-9y= 1

Put x= 1 in eqn (1)

6y-3y=6

3y= 6

Y=6/3= 2

X=1, y=2

1st Equation : 6x + 3y = 6xy --------------- (1)

2nd Equation : 2x + 4y = 5xy -------------- (2)

On solving (1) & (2) * 3, we get

6x + 12y = 15xy

6x + 3y = 6xy

-------------------------

9y = 9xy

x = 1.

Substitute x = 1 in (1), we get

6x + 3y = 6xy

6(1) + 3y = 6(1)(y)

6 + 3y = 6y

6 = 6y - 3y

6 = 3y

y = 2.

Therefore x = 1 and y = 2.

Hope this helps!
