6x+4= 3(x-1)+5 -(linear equation )

6x+4= 3x-3+5 ( opening the brackets)

6x-3x= -4-3+5 ( bringing like ones a side )

3x=-7+5

3x=-2

x=(-2/3)

=>6x+4=3x-3+5

=>6x-3x=-3+5-4

=>3x=-2

=>x=-2/3
