6x+4y=21.......(1)

x-4y=6.............(2)

By adding equation (1) and (2)

6x+4y=21

+ x-4y=6

7x+0=27

x=27/7

by substituting x=27/7 in equation (1)

6x+4y=21

6(27/7)+4y=21

162/7+4y=21

(162+28y)/7=21

162+28y=21×7

162+28y=147

28y=147-162

28y=-15

y=-15/28

(x,y)=(27/7,15/28)
