Step-by-step explanation:

x =  \frac{11 + 5y}{6}  \\ 3( \frac{11 + 5y}{6} ) - 2y = 12 \\  \frac{11 + 5y}{2}  = 12 + 2y \\ 2(12 + 2y) = 11 + 5y \\ 24 + 4y = 11 + 5y \\ 4y - 5y = 11 - 24 \\  - y =  - 13 \\ y = 13 \\ x =  \frac{11 + 65}{6}  \\ x =  \frac{76}{6}

x = 38/3

in second eq

3x-2y = 12

3/2x - y = 6

y = 3/2x -6

substituting this in eq 1

hence

6x - 5(3/2x) = 11

6x- 15/2 x = 11

-3/2x = 11

x = 11*-2/3

x= -22/3

substituting x in in y

y= 3/2x-6

= 3/2*-22/3-6

=-22/2-6

=-11-6

=-21

hope it helps
