Given 6x+5y=7x+3y+1=2(x+6y-1)

6x+5y=7x+3y+1 ⇒ x - 2y + 1 = 0  ---------(1)

7x+3y+1=2(x+6y-1)    ⇒ 5x - 9 y + 3 = 0  ---------(2)

multiply equation (1) by 5 and equation (3) by 1 and subtract we get

-y + 2 = 0 ⇒ y = 2
Substitute y = 2 in equation (1) we get x = 3.

∴ x = 3. and y = 2.
