6x= 8xy-5y= (8x-5)y
therefore y = 6x/8x-5
putting this value in second equation

6 x + 3( \frac{6x}{8x - 5} ) = 7x(\frac{6x}{8x - 5})

by solving this equation we get
x= 2
Y=1
and it can be interchangeable because it depends on u how to considering the value.
so X=1,Y=2 or X=2,Y=1
both are correct.
hope you got it :)
