6x+7 = 2x-176x-
⇒2x = -17-7
⇒4x = -24
⇒x = -24/4
∴x= -6

So, we will shift 7 from LHS to RHS, the sign will change from positive to negative,

So, we will shift 2x from RHS to LHS ,the sign will change from positive to negative,

So, we will get it as,

6x-2x=-17-7\\4x=-24\\x=\frac{-24}{4} \\x=-6

Hence, value of "x" in above equation will be -6.
