Given that

√6x+7-(2x-7)=0

√6x + 7 - 2x + 7 = 0

√6x - 2x + 14 = 0

√6x = 2x - 14

Squaring both sides, we get

6 x² = 4x² + 196 - 56x

Dividing both sides by 2, we get

3 x² = 2x² + 98 - 28x

3 x² - 2x² - 98 + 28x = 0

x²  + 28x - 98 = 0

Using Quadratic Formula , we get

x=\frac{-28\pm\sqrt{28^{2}-4(1)(-98) }}{2(1)} \\\\x=\frac{-28\pm\sqrt{1176}}{2(1)}\\\\x=\frac{-28\pm2\sqrt{294}}{2(1)}  \\\\\\x=-14\pm\sqrt{294}

Answer: x = 9.89

Step-by-step explanation:

√6X + 7 - (2X - 7) =0

Separate variable and constant

√6 x + 7 - 2x + 7 = 0

√6 x -2x = -7 - 7

√6 x - 2 x = -14

squaring both sides

(√6 x )² - ( 2x )² = -14²

6x² - 4x² = 196

2 x ² = 196

x² = 196 /2

x² =  98

x = √98

x = 9.89
