6x square + 5x -6 splitting the middle term

$6 x^{2}$+5x-6

Factorisation:
coefficient of $x^{2}$×constant     
6 × - 6 = - 36
then the product of two numbers must be -36 and the sum must be -5  
as -9 × 4 = - 36 and (-9) + 4 = - 5
so $6x^{2}$+ (-9 +4) x -6
$6x^{2}$-9x + 4x -6
then , 3x (2x -3) +2 (2x -3)
i.e $6x^{2}$ + 5x -6 = (3x+2) and (2x-3)

therefore the factors of $6 x^{2}$+5x -6 are (3x+2) & (2x-3)
