EXPLANATION.

Equation : 6x² - 3 - 7x.

As we know that,

We can write equation as,

⇒ 6x² - 7x - 3 = 0.

⇒ 6x² - 9x + 2x - 3 = 0.

⇒ 3x(2x - 3) + 1 (2x - 3) = 0.

⇒ (3x + 1)(2x - 3) = 0.

⇒ x = - 1/3  and  x = 3/2.

MORE INFORMATION.

Conjugate roots.

(1) If D < 0.

Other roots = α - iβ.

(2) If D > 0.

One roots = α + √β.

Other roots = α - √β.

(2x - 3)(3x + 1)

we \: write \: in \: this \: form \: also :

6 {x}^{2} - 7x - 3

Then \: I \: apply \: middle \: split \: term :

 = 6 {x}^{2} - 9x + 2x - 3

 = 3x(2x - 3) + 1(2x - 3)

 = (2x - 3)(3x + 1)
