Answer:

The answer is x=1,\dfrac{1}{6}

Step-by-step explanation:

   \boxed{\text{ Quadratic formula } x=\dfrac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}}

Comparing 6x^2-7x+1=0 with standard quadratic equation ax^2+bx+c=0

We have  a=6,b=-7,c=1

Therefore using above mentioned formula, solution is

           x=\dfrac{-(-7)\pm \sqrt{(-7)^2-4(6)(1)}}{2(6)}

              =\dfrac{7\pm \sqrt{49-24}}{12}=\dfrac{7\pm\sqrt{25}}{12}=\dfrac{7\pm 5}{12}\\\\=\dfrac{7+5}{12},\dfrac{7-5}{12}\\=1,\dfrac{1}{6}
