Answer:

first factorize both quadratic polynomial

6x^2+x-2= 6x^2+4x-3x-2=2x(3x+2)-1(3x+2)

=(3x+2)(2x-1)

now factorize, 12x^2+5x-2

=12x^2+8x-3x-2

=4x(3x+2)-1(3x+2)

=(3x+2)(4x-1)

clearly, in both polynomial (3x+2) is common so HCF OR GCD is (3x+2)
