then,

D = b² - 4ac

= -7² - 4*6*-3

= 49 + 72

= 121

x = -b ±√D/2a

= 7 ± √121/2*6

= 7 ± 11/12

so,

7+11/12. , 7-11/12

= 18/12

= 3/2. , -4/12 = -1/3

so the answer is 3/2, -1/3
